1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

CNB Lighting Limited (“CNB Lighting,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) hereby establishes this Privacy Policy in compliance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (“the Act”) governing the treatment of Personal Information. For purposes hereof, “Personal Information” shall mean information about an identifiable individual (a natural person).

This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into and forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of Trade accessible on the CNB Lighting Website. By accessing or using the Website, you expressly acknowledge and accept the terms herein and confirm your understanding thereof. Should you not accept this Privacy Policy, you must immediately cease accessing the Website, refrain from making any purchases through the Website, and discontinue use of any services provided by CNB Lighting.

All references to the singular include the plural, and vice versa. CNB Lighting reserves the right to modify this policy at any time by publishing a revised version on the Website. Such modifications shall take effect immediately upon publication. Notwithstanding any amendments, the policy applicable to any Personal Information collected prior to such modification shall remain the policy in effect at the time of collection, unless otherwise required by law.

  • Media Uploads: Should you upload images to the Website, you are advised to remove any embedded location data (EXIF GPS) prior to upload. Visitors to the Website may download and extract location data from images publicly available on the Website.

Authentication cookies are removed upon logout.
  • Content Editing Cookies: An additional cookie is stored when editing or publishing content, containing only the post identifier of the edited content. This cookie expires after 24 hours.

Where correction is not made, we will annotate the Personal Information to reflect your requested correction. We reserve the right to retain uncorrected information where required by law.

We will endeavor to delete Personal Information when no longer required for its collected purpose or other lawful purposes.
